Terms of Service

Last updated October 22, 2026

Agreement

These terms govern your use of Postlude ("Postlude," "we," "us"). By creating an account, you agree to them. If you are using Postlude on behalf of a company, you are agreeing on that company's behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.

The service

Postlude connects to your meeting notetaker and drafts follow-up emails from your call transcripts, in your voice, for you to review and send through your own email provider. It can log sent emails to your connected CRM.

Features, pricing, and behavior may change over time. We'll communicate meaningful changes.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and connected-integration access secure, and for the accuracy of the business information you provide (it directly shapes what the AI drafts). Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Postlude to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk email, spam, or anything that violates applicable anti-spam or email marketing law (e.g. CAN-SPAM).
  • Send content that is illegal, deceptive, or infringes someone else's rights.
  • Attempt to access another customer's account or data, or interfere with the service's normal operation.

AI-generated content

Postlude drafts emails using AI, grounded in your call transcript and the context you provide, but a draft is a starting point, not a finished email. Every draft is reviewed by you before it sends; nothing sends automatically. You are responsible for the content of any email you choose to send, including reviewing it for accuracy before it goes out.

Your content

You own your call transcripts, contacts, templates, and the emails you draft and send. You grant us the right to process that content, including sending it to our AI and integration providers, solely to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The Postlude software, design, and the Postlude name and logo belong to us. Using the service does not give you any ownership in it. You keep all rights to your own content (see "Your content" above); we do not claim any ownership over your transcripts, drafts, or sent emails.

Third-party integrations

Postlude connects to your meeting notetaker, email provider, and CRM, such as Fathom, Gmail, Attio, and GoHighLevel, at your direction. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for their availability or behavior.

No warranty

Postlude is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated drafts will always be accurate. This is exactly why every draft is reviewed by you before it sends.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Postlude is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including from an email you chose to send after reviewing it.

Plans, billing and payments

Postlude is offered as a free trial and as monthly subscription plans. The current plans, prices, included seats, and monthly call volumes are listed on our pricing page and are the ones in effect when you subscribe. A subscription is for your workspace, not for an individual: the owner or admin who subscribes is responsible for the fees. Prices are in US dollars. We may change prices; if we do, existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to them.

Seats and usage. Each plan includes a number of seats and a monthly call volume that is shared across your whole workspace. A call counts once, the first time it produces a draft; regenerating, changing tone, or editing a draft never uses another call. Calls reset each billing period and do not carry over. If you reach your monthly volume, Postlude pauses drafting new calls until your next period or until you upgrade; your calls and transcripts keep being stored. You can add seats beyond those included; each extra seat is billed monthly, at the price shown on the pricing page.

Free trial. Every new workspace starts with a free trial that lasts 14 days or 15 calls, whichever comes first. No card is required. When the trial ends, your workspace becomes inactive: Postlude stops drafting and rewriting emails and stops receiving new calls from your notetaker. Drafts you already have can still be sent and logged to your CRM, and your account stays. Subscribing restores full access for new calls from then on; calls that take place while the workspace is inactive are not recorded or kept.

Inactive workspaces. A workspace is inactive when its free trial has ended or its paid subscription has ended. We email the workspace's owners and admins before each of the following steps. About two weeks after a workspace becomes inactive, we disconnect and revoke the accounts connected to it (such as Gmail, Fathom, Slack, and your CRM); to resume, connect them again. About ninety days after it became inactive, we permanently delete the workspace's call transcripts, drafted and sent follow-up emails, and other call data, unless you have subscribed again by then. Your account, workspace, settings, templates, contacts, and billing records are kept. Subscribing at any time makes the workspace active again; it does not restore call data that has already been deleted.

Billing and renewal. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card or other payment details are entered on Stripe's own pages; Postlude does not receive or store them. Your use of Stripe is also governed by Stripe's own terms. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it and your access continues in the meantime; if the payment cannot be collected, your subscription ends and your workspace becomes inactive as described above.

Changing or cancelling. Owners and admins can change or cancel a plan at any time from Billing settings. Upgrades (a higher plan or more seats) take effect immediately, and the difference is prorated for the rest of the current period and charged right away. Downgrades, seat reductions, and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your current plan until then.

Refunds. Fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Other than the proration applied when you upgrade, we do not refund or credit unused time, calls, or seats.

Termination

You can stop using Postlude and disconnect your integrations at any time. If you have a paid subscription, cancelling it takes effect at the end of your billing period, as described under Plans, billing and payments. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. What we keep and delete after a workspace becomes inactive is described under Plans, billing and payments.

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know directly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
